Aboriginal Affairs

Our group of lawyers practicing aboriginal law provides legal expertise in the areas of duty to consult and accommodate; economic development and business opportunities; governance of the Nation; labour and employment; infrastructure issues of water, sewage, and housing; policing; negotiations regarding land, resources and Treaty claims; additions to reserve (ATR); and benefits and incentive agreements (BIA).

The unique legal matters that pertain to the needs of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples of Canada should be delivered and represented by those who recognize, specialize in, and understand these specific legal matters as well as the ability to draw upon their own disciplines of constitutional, environmental, and energy law for the best possible results. We use critical skills and knowledge to offer a unique breadth and depth of experience as well as the fundamental understanding that is needed in this specialized field.
