Tax Litigation involves a comprehensive administrative regime and various appeal mechanisms to the Canadian Courts, which allow a taxpayer to formally challenge and appeal assessments of tax by all levels of government, including the Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments of Canada, under various federal, provincial and municipal statues, such as the Income Tax Act and Excise Tax Act.

We assist our clients during audits, reviews, and formally appealing tax assessments to ensure that they are not over-taxed, and pay the correct amount of tax under the applicable taxation statute. We will also assist clients in defending criminal charges initiated by the Crown in relation to taxation matters.
