Michael Peerless, Matt Baer, Sabrina Lombardi and Matthew Villeneuve were named Partners at McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP effective January 1, 2018. This new role is a reflection of the outstanding results they consistently achieve for their clients in the Class Action Law and Family Law fields.

Since his call to the bar in 1993, Mike Peerless’ practice has been focused on class actions and other complex multi-party litigation. Counsel in dozens of class actions, Mike is consistently recognized as one of Canada’s top class action litigators.

Matt Baer has a track record of success across a wide variety of class actions including some of the leading pharmaceutical and medical device cases.  Called to the bar in 2003, Matt’s enthusiasm, dedication to his clients’ needs and considerable experience makes him an invaluable member of the class actions team.

Sabrina Lombardi has practiced exclusively in the area of class actions since her call to the bar in 2006. Her years of experience practicing class action law is fuelled by her desire to help people which is demonstrated through her advocacy for and commitment to her clients and the community.

With a passion for Family Law, Matthew Villeneuve has more than 10 years of experience advocating for his clients. Called to the bar in 2006, Matthew has extensive experience in all aspects of family law including mediation, arbitration an alternative dispute resolution.
