McKenzie Lake Awarded Most New Leaders by United Way Elgin Middlesex

Over the last year, members of the firm have continued to support United Way Elgin Middlesex and we are proud of our team for all their collective and personal contributions. In doing so, McKenzie Lake was presented the “Most New Leaders” award, which recognizes the firm that had the most donors giving over a certain amount through the workplace campaign, which ended March 31^st, 2022.  

In addition to our corporate support, special events, and employee donations, Managing Partner Michael Peerless acted as Chair of the Lawyers’ Leadership Challenge, which helped to encourage other firms to give generously in support of United Way Elgin Middlesex. 

“It was an honour to act as the Chair of the Lawyers’ Leadership Challenge in London for 2021-2022 encouraging those who were able to support United Way Elgin Middlesex. This campaign spanned a difficult time for everyone and as such, I am particularly pleased to share that the generosity of our lawyers and staff enabled us to contribute $31,569.00 this past year. This money helps provide basic needs, shelter, emergency food, and assistance in a variety of other ways, with funds always staying local”, stated Michael.
