Lawyers Emily Assini and Sabrina Lombardi will be speaking at the December Ontario Bar Association Class Action Colloquium Conference on Wednesday, December 2^nd.  Their featured session is titled “Class Action Claims, Mass Torts and Opt Out Litigation” and will take place at 10am. 

Overall, the annual OBA Class Action Colloquium discusses new elements of change within class actions law, from the global pandemic and increase in virtual litigation, to new legislation and novel claims. 

Topics to be discussed include:  

• How class proceedings legislation will impact the class actions framework 
• Proliferation of COVID-19 related claims  
• What litigating will look like in 2025 

This webinar will also include the “View from the Bench” panel where judges from across Canada will be speaking on the most cutting-edge issues.
