McKenzie Lake Lawyers Welcomes Meagan MacArthur as a New Associate

McKenzie Lake Lawyers is pleased to welcome Meagan MacArthur to our Wills, Estates & Trusts group in the London, Ontario office.

Meagan joins us after successfully completing the Integrated Practice Curriculum and being called to the Ontario Bar in 2024. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University (JD, 2024) and previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Western University in 2020.

During law school, Meagan demonstrated her advocacy and litigation skills by winning the preliminary round of the Hicks Morley Moot and placing first with her team at the Walsh Family Law Moot.  She also gained hands-on experience working at the Refugee Law Office, supporting clients with refugee claims, and at Neighbourhood Legal Services in both London and Toronto, where she developed litigation experience at the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Social Benefits Tribunal.

At McKenzie Lake, Meagan now focuses her practice on will preparation, estate planning, and estate administration. She is committed to delivering thoughtful, client‑centred service and practical, creative solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Outside the office, Meagan enjoys travelling, crocheting, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Meagan’s strong academic background, advocacy experience, and dedication to service make her a great addition to our team. We are confident her contributions will enhance the firm’s ability to support our clients in estate planning matters.
