Kayla Gordon Joins McKenzie Lake as an Associate

McKenzie Lake is pleased to welcome Kayla Gordon as an associate in our Guelph, Ontario office. Kayla is a family lawyer with significant experience in negotiating and preparing domestic contracts, as well as representing clients in court. Kayla combines her legal expertise with positivity, compassion, and thoroughness, an approach that her clients greatly appreciate.

Since Kayla’s call to the bar in 2019, she has practiced exclusively in family law in Guelph, Ontario. Prior to beginning her legal career, Kayla worked at Western and McMaster Universities as a Researcher in the areas of law, family-focused public health services, and the prevention of intimate partner violence. She holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Criminology from the University of Western Ontario.

Deeply involved in the community, Kayla is a Board Director of the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, Chair of the Wish Fund’s Auction Committee, and Co-Chair of the United Way GenNext Committee.

Kayla will work in the Guelph office and looks forward to connecting with clients and colleagues soon.
