Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre (EMDC) back in the news

After seven inmates overdosed within minutes of each other just last week at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre (EMDC), lawyer Kevin Egan, who represents thousands of inmates in lawsuits over jail conditions, says the deplorable conditions, lack of security, and an overabundance of unknown pills is “the tip of the iceberg”.
