Biography

Ellen was raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degrees in English and History from Queen’s University and went on to obtain a Master of Arts Degree in History from the University of Western Ontario. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2025 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2026. During her time as a law student, Ellen was a mentor for incoming first year students, and a co-chair for the Gender and the Law Association and the Western Tax Law Association. In her final year, she won the Diana Majury-Cheryl Waldrum Award which is awarded annually to the student enrolled in a course on gender or discrimination who makes a significant contribution to the class. Ellen summered and completed her articles at McKenzie Lake.
An active community member, Ellen currently volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area.
When outside of the office, you can find Ellen reading her newest library find, or at the pickleball court rallying with friends and family.
