Kia 2.0L and 2.4L Theta II GDI Engine

On June 10, 2019 a class action was brought on behalf of all persons who purchased or leased a 2011-2019 Kia Optima; 2012-2019 Kia Sorento; and/or a 2011-2019 Kia Sportage equipped with Theta II 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre gasoline direct injection engines.

This class action alleges that the Settlement Class Vehicles suffer from a defect that can cause engine seizure, stalling, failure and/or fire.
