Biography

“Resolving family law matters involves more than just finding solutions; it’s about ensuring those solutions are achievable for the parties who follow through. I believe that involving the parties in the resolution process results in more practical and attainable solutions.”

Alice brings forth a wealth of experience gained as an educator and community volunteer in her family law practice. It’s Alice’s job to help clients negotiate all of the issues that arise when family relationships break down. Often, the most important thing Alice can do for a family is to help them focus more on the future than on the past.

Conflict is inevitable and sometimes leads to a final breakdown of family relationships.  Alice’s role as a family law lawyer is to assist clients through this process, helping them reach creative and practical resolutions to their issues.

McKenzie Lake’s commitment to mediation and alternative dispute resolution compliments Alice’s dedication to client-focused solutions. Alice recognizes that not all problems can be resolved through negotiation and court action may be the best option available.

Alice has been a family law lawyer for 7 years. Prior to beginning her career in family law, Alice worked for one year in corporate commercial law. Alice has been very involved with United Way fundraising at McKenzie Lake and has participated in the McKenzie Lake United Way StairClimb Team for that past 4 years.

Beyond her practice, Alice enjoys attending local sporting events, reading, and relaxing with family and friends.
