Labour and Employment
The field of labour and employment is complex and it comprises many separate and distinct areas. McKenzie Lake has several lawyers who are experienced in all of these areas.
We regularly are retained with respect to complaints regarding labour relations and employment and frequently appear in the courts, before labour tribunals, and arbitrators. When separation occurs, we have assisted in resolving such complaints too. As such, we have experience in union and non-union circumstances, and frequently advise with respect to labour and employment statutes and human rights concerns.
We are experienced in workplace health and safety complaints and in workplace injuries, representing employers and workers. Often, there are investigations by public authorities and we regularly assist parties in the regulatory hearings and court cases that can result where complaints are made or injury results.
