David was called to the Bar in 1976. He is the former Chair of both the St. Joseph’s Health Care and Foundation Boards. He is also a former Chair of the Bioethics and Human Resources Committee at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
David’s practice includes providing general counsel to hospitals and universities, litigating at all levels of Court and Tribunals in Ontario and acting as mediator and arbitrator in employment disputes. His areas of practice include general litigation, insurance defence, administrative law, health care law, fisheries law, employment law and adoption law. David has a life long history of political activism. He has held the post of Campaign Manager for political candidates at various levels of government. He is a former Chief of Staff to a Federal Cabinet Member. David’s number one priority remains his family and in his personal time he enjoys travel, golf and reading. A close second to his family is his passion for golf in which sport his accomplishments include a score of 71 at Augusta National Golf Course.
