Graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1977, Michael was called to the Bar in 1979. Since then he has built an expertise in business law, real estate and land development and is currently a partner in the firm's business practice group.
A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Middlesex Law Association, Michael is well versed in various aspects of business and real estate law, specifically in commercial financing, dispositions and acquisitions of real property, land development, Ontario public infrastructure projects and corporate structuring. His experience and successes have been built on the foundation of strong negotiation skills which have served him well in navigating the often complexities of real estate law.
It is not only within the practise of law where Michael has proven adept at navigating. He is an avid boating enthusiast and woodworker and has combined these two passions (and a healthy dash of humour) into building a boat which he and his family use at their cottage. The name of the boat? Rowsbud. Michael also enjoys photography, music and skiing.
