Biography

Called to the Bar in 2009, Erin is one of the newest members of the Mckenzie Lake team. Having graduated with designations including an Honours Bachelor of Science, Erin remains strongly supportive of her alma mater, Brescia University College. She has served as president and treasurer of the institution's alumnae association and has also supported the association through various charity involvements.

Specializing in litigation and health law, Erin has been actively involved in supporting the local medical community, serving on administrative and fundraising boards for both the London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Health Care organizations. She has also been active in the Arthritis Society, Big Sisters of Canada, YMCA of London, the TVO Foundation Board, and Participation House. Erin believes strongly in the value of volunteering and lending her skills to support worthwhile causes. For her selfless efforts, she has been awarded the Flare Award, presented to the Canadian volunteer of the year. She continues to put her talents to good use, serving as trustee on the board for the Canadian Museum of Nature.

In addition to volunteering for social and educational causes, Erin has also lent her skills to the political world. She has served as the campaign manager for a London municipal candidate, acted as the co-chair and co-ordinator for various events involving provincial premiers, and has initiated and co-ordinated a tribute to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the City of London.

For her efforts over the years, Erin has received the Malcolm J. McKinnon award (presented to the first-year student who best exemplifies the spirit of giving of themselves for others' benefit), the Leading Women Building Communities award, the Paul Harris Fellow, the Jane Musset award, the aforementioned Flare award, and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal.
