Having graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Ontario, Kevin is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Called to the Bar in 1999, Kevin has a family history in the legal profession. In 2009, he travelled to Redwood Castle in Tipperary, Ireland where he was chosen as a Deputy Chieftain of the Egan Clann -- a family which has long been distinguished as the traditional lawyers of Ireland since the 13th century.
Kevin specializes in commercial disputes, personal injury and motor vehicle accident (MVA) litigation. In addition, he has significant experience in the areas of labour and employment, workplace safety and insurance, human rights, and criminal and provincial offences.
Kevin's proficiency as a trial lawyer is strengthened by his personal experience as a small business owner and as senior management for a large corporation. This experience in the business community gives him a broad perspective on the corporate and commercial aspects of his practice.
In addition to the historical significance of his position with the Egan Clann, Kevin has taken an active interest in genealogy and Irish heritage. He and his wife Angela are the proud parents of three children and outside of work, he is strongly involved in the London sporting community. Kevin coaches, manages and sponsors local hockey and soccer teams and is active in his children's school fundraising activities.
