One of McKenzie Lake’s partners, Sandra was called to the Bar in 1999. She specializes in business law and commercial real estate, with a particular interest in condominiums. She holds both a degree in Honours Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Ontario. She is a member of the Middlesex Law Association (previously serving as a member of the board), the Canadian Condominium Institute, and the Ontario Bar Association -- Real Property Section. Sandra has taught classes at London’s Fanshawe College in real estate law and has guest lectured at Brescia University College in business law.
Sandra is extremely well-versed in condominium development, having registered over 60 condominium projects over the past eight years in numerous Ontario municipalities. Sandra is frequently called upon to advise condominium corporations on issues regarding the operation of condominium properties and compliance with the Condominium Act of Ontario. Sandra is experienced with all types of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, financing, development and leasing. She also provides business law advice for small business owners and professional corporations and assists individuals with their wills, powers of attorney and estate planning.
Outside of the office, Sandra maintains an active lifestyle – playing golf, spending time with family and friends at her cottage, taking wilderness canoe trips and enjoying gourmet cooking.
