Biography

Called to the bar in 2001, Lisa has more than ten years of experience specializing in Plantiff Personal Injury including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, longterm disability disputes and professional negligence.

Lisa graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in Sociology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws. She was the proud recipient of the Dean Ivan C. Rand Award for outstanding contribution in the service of the London community, the students of the Faculty of Law and strong academic standing. 

After university, Lisa has remained dedicated to the community as a trustee with the Middlesex Law Association, as a member of the Brain Injury Association of London and Region (BIALR) as well as the Ontario Brain Injury Association. Her ties to the BIALR also include her time spent as Vice-President, board member and member of the fundraising committee. 

Before joining McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP, Lisa was a Partner at a local law firm and is currently a member of the Middlesex Law Association, Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association of Ontario, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and Advocates Society.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys travelling, reading, cooking and spending quality time with her husband and twin daughters. A sports enthusiast, Lisa enjoys watching NCAA basketball and cheering her favourite NFL team to victory.
