Biography
Called to the Bar in 1974, Lindsey has over three decades of experience in corporate, commercial and real estate law as well as estate and trust planning. He stands as a strong advocate for the rights and needs of small to medium-sized businesses, both in his professional and personal activities.
Lindsey obtained his Bachelor of Laws in 1973 from The University of Western Ontario and received a mediation and arbitration designation from Harvard University in 1998. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, as well as the Canadian, Ontario and Middlesex Bar Associations.
His expertise lies in the fields of corporate mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, and mortgage transfers. He has been involved in real estate transactions, estate planning and trust transactions.
Lindsey's interest in the business community is not restricted to the office. He has served as the chairman of the London Downtown Business Association, and has been a director of various corporate boards for public and private companies. He currently sits as a member of the Huron University College Corporation board. In addition to these roles, Lindsey serves as the Chancellor and a solicitor for the Diocese of Huron, and has served as a director and past president of the London Hunt and Country Club. He has been a member of the Instructor Law Society of Upper Canada -- commercial agreements, and has served as a lecturer Bar admission for estate and trusts.
Outside of his practice, Lindsey enjoys spending time with his family and hitting the links, and is a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Gold Medal for community service.
