Holden Rhodes

 

Biography

With expertise in business law, real estate and land development practices, Holden is a partner in the firm's business law and commercial real estate groups.

Called to the Bar in 1998, Holden originally received an Honours BA in politics from The University of Western Ontario in 1991. He then travelled overseas, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Central England (Birmingham). Since then he has gained experience in institutional financing, corporate acquisitions, dispositions and restructuring. He is well versed in expropriation work, as well as commercial, agricultural and multi-residential real estate.

Holden is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, the Middlesex Law Association, the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators, and the North American Export Committee. He is a board member of the University of Western Ontario's law school advisory board for the business law clinic. He is a chair of the student committee for McKenzie Lake.

Outside of his office, Holden has been actively involved in the London community serving as the chair of the governance committee and board member for the MS Society (London chapter). He was a board member of the MainStreet working committee and has served with the London Home Builder's Association and the Pathways Skill Development Placement Centre. Holden has taught classes at London's Fanshawe College specifically dealing with corporate and real estate law.
