Biography

With almost two decades in the medical field, both as a registered nurse and as a researcher, Diane is uniquely capable of providing a wide perspective on her fields of legal expertise: insurance defence, health law, and personal injury. 

She received her RN designation in 1983, then decided to apply her medical knowledge to the field of law. She received her Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Ontario in 2003 and was subsequently called to the Bar in 2004. 

A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Middlesex Law Association, and the Ontario Bar Association, Diane also continues her medical affiliations with the College of Nurses of Ontario. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the London-Middlesex Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, and is a volunteer committee member of the Arthritis Society, Southwest Region. 

Outside of work, Diane loves travelling and spending time with her family in cottage country and takes pride in raising her three children.
