Biography

Called to the Bar in 2004, Ben has since focused exclusively on family law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Western Ontario before attending the University of Windsor, where he received his Bachelor of Laws in 2003.

A member of the Middlesex Family Law Association, the Middlesex Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association, Ben has served as a Panel Lawyer for the Director of the Family Responsibility Office of Ontario since 2004. In this role, he has assisted the Director in enforcing support obligations for London and surrounding areas.

Ben is well versed in all areas of family law. His practice includes custody, access, child and spousal support, divorce, property issues and domestic contracts. He is experienced in trials and regularly appears before both the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice. He has also been a guest speaker in law school classes at the University of Western Ontario and at the Middlesex Family Law Association Annual Conference.

Outside the legal profession, Ben maintains an active lifestyle. He is an avid runner and soccer fan and has captained teams at both the London Chamber of Commerce Corporate Challenge and the Labatt 24-Hour Relay. Ben is also involved in the local arts community.
