Professional Experience and Activities
Daniel practises business law with an emphasis on franchising, licensing and distribution law, and trade-marks and intellectual property law. He is the head of the firm’s Franchise Law Department. His practice focuses on advising franchisors, franchisees, franchisee associations and others involved in franchising on all aspects of Canadian franchise legal matters.
Daniel is the author of the best-selling Canadian Franchise Law Handbook published by Lexis-Nexis Butterworths. Additionally, Daniel is an adjunct professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario and is an instructor of business law at the Canadian Institute of Management.
