Professional Experience and Activities
Carolyn has been practising family law as her main focus since 2000. She negotiates and litigates issues related to separation, divorce, custody of and access with children, child support and spousal support, division of property and child protection issues. She negotiates all types of domestic contracts, including separation agreements, parenting agreements, cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts.
Carolyn received her collaborative family law certification in 2002 and practices collaborative family law* as a part of her family law practice.
Carolyn completed the course "Fundamentals of Mediation" conducted through the ADR Institute of Ontario, Inc, in 2006. She has expanded her practice to include general mediations. She is working with Prof. Richard McLaren of Innovative Dispute Resolution Ltd.** Professor McLaren is counsel to McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP.
